This commercial fit-out project consolidated two existing Microsoft offices in Doha into one single office in the Lusail Marina, covering approximately 1,400m² on the 27th floor of Burj Al Fardan Lusail.

Serin was appointed to oversee the project at a local level, including all Cost Management. Serin’s hands-on and director-level approach meant that the Client was kept up to date with any key developments.

Using Qatar’s beautiful surroundings as inspiration for the concept, the new office space was meticulously designed by Kasian Architecture to take advantage of the building’s pre-existing architecture, and uses state-of-the-art internal glazing to optimise the views of the surrounding desert, sea and cityscape.

The main entrance to the office is on the northwest of the building, with views of Lusail and the sea. The concept envisions the desert rising from the sea, with a ceiling feature in the main reception that flows throughout the customer areas’ floors and ceilings, mimicking the topography of the surrounding desert. Meanwhile, Doha’s distinctive skyline forms the backdrop to the employee areas.
